IMPORTANT NOTICE: Village Elections Postponed by Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order
New election date: April 28, 2020 — same as the NYS Presidential Primaries

Village hall will keep all previously submitted absentee ballots secured until the new election date.
*Friday, March 6, 2020: Last day to postmark voter registration form or to register in person
*Tuesday, March 10, 2020: Last day for the Scarsdale Village Clerk to receive an “application for an absentee ballot”<+https://citizenparticipation.westchestergov.com/voting/absentee-ballots> to be mailed to a qualified voter (also available at Village Hall, on the first floor window at the Village Clerk’s office)
*Monday, March 16, 2020, at 5 pm: Last day to personally deliver an “application for an absentee ballot”<+https://citizenparticipation.westchestergov.com/voting/absentee-ballots> in order to receive an absentee ballot in person at Scarsdale Village Hall

According to State Election Law, a Village election may be postponed only through a directive from the Governor. As of now, the Village Trustee election will occur as scheduled.
As per the Village, precautionary safeguards will be in place at the voting location including gloves and hand sanitizers; the voting equipment will be wiped down continuously.
In addition, as per the Village Clerk, completed absentee ballots may be returned on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, to the polling site.
