Registered Democrats in Scarsdale will have the opportunity to vote in a Democratic Party Primary for the positions of Representative for U.S. Congressional District 16 and Westchester County District Attorney. Registered Republicans in Scarsdale will have the opportunity to vote in a Republican Primary for the position of Representative for U.S. Congressional District 16. No Republican Party Primary is scheduled for the position of County District Attorney. No primary will be held for either party for New York State Senate, District 37, or New York State Assembly District 88.

Early Mail and Absentee Ballot Information

Saturday, June 15, 2024 (ten days before the election): Last day for an application for a mailed absentee ballot or a mailed early mail ballot to be received by the Board of Elections. Applications may be made via email, fax, or electronically through the New York State Absentee Ballot Application Portal or the Early Mail Ballot Application Portal. See the Westchester County Board of Elections Request a Ballot webpage and the New York State Board of Elections Request a Ballot webpage for additional details.

Monday, June 24, 2024 (one day before the election):  Last day to apply in person at the Westchester County Board of Elections (25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601) for an absentee ballot or an early mail ballot.

Tuesday, June 25, 2024 (Election Day): Last day to postmark a completed absentee or early mail ballot (must be received by Tuesday, July 2, 2024) or to submit an absentee ballot or early mail ballot in person to the Westchester County Board of Elections or any polling site throughout Westchester County by the close of the polls.

Saturday, August 13, 2022 through Sunday, August 21, 2022: Early voting at any of the 25 early primary voting polling locations and times in Westchester County.   

Tuesday, August 23, 2022 (Primary Election Day): In person voting only at your assigned polling location.
