On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Village Board of Trustees meeting, LWVS Co-President Heedan Chung delivered an LWVS Board Statement on the Proposed Village Governance Code Amendments requesting a pause on any formal action concerning the proposed amendments. “The LWVS Board is poised to undertake further study of this issue and is also concerned that the community may not have had sufficient notice, time, nor opportunity to weigh in on the proposed changes.” Follow the link above to view the full text of the LWVS Board Statement.
