LWVS will hold a general membership information session regarding this year’s proposed SBNC Resolution Amendments. Members of the current SBNC Administrative Committee (SBNC AC), including the SBNC AC Resolution Chair Art Rublin and SBNC AC/Election Chair Jocelyn Zoland, have been invited to present information and answer questions. All members of the public are welcome to attend the information session.

The SBNC AC is the body that solicits candidates for SBNC, proposes amendments to the SBNC Resolution, and runs the SBNC election and referendum on the amendments. The SBNC is the body that vets applicants and nominates a proposed slate of trustees for election to the Scarsdale Board of Education. The SBNC Resolution is the document that governs the school non-partisan election system.

A consensus discussion will immediately follow the information session for purposes of making recommendations to the SBNC AC. Only League members may participate.
