LWVS Annual Dues for Membership Year 2025-26 are valid July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.

Membership Dues Categories*

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS:

• Individual Basic $75.00 ($20 base membership fee plus $55 contribution)
• Individual Suffragist $150.00 ($20 base membership fee plus $130 contribution)
• Individual Friend of the League $250.00 ($20 base membership fee plus $230 contribution)
• Individual Minimum $20
• Student (high school or college) NO CHARGE (please complete online Student Membership form in lieu of payment)

HOUSEHOLD MEMBERSHIPS (2 adults residing at the same home address):

• Household Basic $100.00 (two $20 base membership fees plus $60 contribution)
• Household Suffragist $150.00 (two $20 base membership fees plus $110 contribution)
• Household Friend of the League $250.00 (two $20 base membership fees plus $210 contribution)
• Household Minimum $40

Membership dues at the Suffragist and Friend of the League levels and any additional contributions may be made payable either to LWVS (not tax deductible) or to LWVNYS Education Fund (tax deductible above the $20/person dues fee).

*LWVUS has rolled out a new dues structure this year. To account for the anticipated impact of these changes to LWVS’s fiscal health and to enable LWVS to continue its practice of offering free membership to students, LWVS voted at its annual meeting to raise individual basic dues rates by $5 to match what LWVUS is recommending, to keep all other membership levels unchanged, and to indicate explicitly the amount considered as “membership dues” shared with higher level leagues versus the amount that will be allocated strictly to LWVS.

Membership in the League of Women Voters, a highly respected and effective grassroots organization, is open to people of all ages and genders.
