The Information session is open to the public. A consensus discussion will immediately follow for LWVS members only.

The March 16, 2021, tentative Village Budget includes a proposed tax levy increase of 2.99%, or $152 for the average Scarsdale property owner. Due to the economic impact of COVID-19 and other trends, the Village is facing an environment of increased costs (minimum wage, pensions, benefits, and water), more demand (police and fire calls, solid, commingled, green, and textile waste, and water usage), and a significant reduction in revenues (fewer parking permits, not as many fines, and fewer Recreation Department fee-based programs). Most large capital projects will be deferred.
