VILLAGE ELECTION SYSTEM

On Monday, October 3, 2022, at 10:30 am at the Scarsdale Public Library, LWVS held a general membership information session regarding this year’s proposed amendments to the Non-Partisan Resolution. Procedure Committee Chair Michelle Sterling and Vice Chair Peri Zelig presented and answered questions. On Monday, December 5, 2022, at 10 am at the Scarsdale Public Library, LWVS held its annual general membership information session regarding this year’s Citizens Nominating Committee (CNC) election and referendum on the Non-Partisan Resolution amendments.. Procedure Committee Chair Michelle Sterling and Vice Chair Peri Zelig presented and answered questions. The information session was open to the public; the consensus meeting was for LWVS members only. SCHOOL ELECTION SYSTEM

On Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:30 am via Zoom, LWVS held its annual general membership information session regarding this year’s School Board Nominating Committee (SBNC) election. Susi D’Ambra Coplan, SBNC Election Chair, presented and answered questions on behalf of the SBNC Administrative Committee (AC). LOCAL, COUNTY, AND STATE LEAGUE PROGRAMS

On Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10 am at the Scarsdale Public Library, LWVS held its annual general membership and consensus meeting to discuss next year’s programs for LWVS (to be proposed for adoption at the LWVS Annual Meeting in May), for the Westchester County League for the upcoming year (to be communicated to the LWVW board for its consideration), and for the New York State League (to be communicated to the LWVNYS board for discussion and voting at the LWVNYS Convention).
