2021 LWVS CANDIDATE FORUM FOR BOARD OF EDUCATION

LWVS held a virtual candidate forum in anticipation of the upcoming May 18, 2021, contested school board election. The candidate forum offered an opportunity for candidate opening and closing statements as well as a question and answer format with timed responses. Questions were a combination of LWVS and audience-submitted questions, designed to address a broad range of issues, and the event was moderated by a trained LWV of Westchester representative from outside of Scarsdale.

The four candidates whose names will appear on the ballot for the two open seats in the upcoming School Board Election, Jim Dugan, Irin Israel, Jessica Resnick-Ault, and Alison Tepper Singer, all participated. The two School Board seats will go to the two highest vote recipients in the May 18, 2021, election.
