EARLY VOTING POLLING INFORMATION FOR SCARSDALE RESIDENTS

The early voting period for the Tuesday, November 3, 2020, General Election will be from Saturday, October 24, 2020 through Sunday, November 1, 2020. The early voting polling hours and locations are posted on the Westchester County Board of Elections website. Voters may vote at any Early Voting polling location in Westchester County (see list below). Reminder: if you take advantage of Early Voting or absentee voting, you may not vote on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020, when polls will be open from 6 am to 9 pm. IMPORTANT DATES

Friday, October 9, 2020:  Last day for your voter registration form to be postmarked. Last day to register to vote in-person at the Westchester County Board of Elections Office, 25 Quarropas Street, White Plains, NY 10601.

Saturday, October 24, 2020:  Early voting period begins.  

Tuesday, October 27, 2020: Last day  for your absentee ballot application to be postmarked. All New York State voters may now apply to vote by absentee ballot using the temporary illness clause, which by law now includes “fear of COVID-19.”

Sunday, November 1, 2020:  Last day of early voting.

Monday, November 2, 2020: Last day to apply in-person for an absentee ballot.

Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (General Election Day): Last day for your absentee ballot to be postmarked or hand-delivered to the Board of Elections. Please note that mailed absentee ballots without a postmark must be received by Wednesday, November 4, 2020, to be counted. Mailed absentee ballots with a postmark must be received by Tuesday, November 10, 2020, to be counted.
