On Friday, January 14, 2022, LWVS President Alissa Baum and LWVS Voter Service Co-Chair Beatrice Sevcik issued a Letter to the Editor re Redistricting, recapping the efforts of the Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) thus far and urging Scarsdale voters to contact the IRC, our NYS legislators, and LATFOR (the agency that aids the legislature in apportioning districts) to redraw and vote for fair districts in a bipartisan manner that keep all of Scarsdale together.
